If you create an account we store your email address, your chosen handle, a securely hashed password, and a count of the clips you have made. If you subscribe, payment is handled entirely by Stripe (or NOWPayments for crypto) — we never see or store your card details.
Videos you upload — or that we fetch from a link you paste — are processed on our server to make your clips. The source file is deleted automatically once processing finishes. Finished clips are stored temporarily so you can download them, and are removed periodically. Please download anything you want to keep.
If you use auto-captions, the audio of your clip is transcribed on our own server. If you use AI clip ranking or the Pro AI Coach, the transcript text and a summary of your NeonDrop usage are sent to Anthropic's API to generate the result. If you generate a background, your prompt is sent to our generation provider. We do not sell your data or use it to train models.
We use a single signed cookie to keep you logged in, and local storage to remember a referral code if you arrived via someone's link. No advertising trackers.
You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time — get in touch via the feedback form and we'll sort it.
